Khloe Kardashian’s Paternity Doubts

The Kardashian sisters have slowly become the faces of the celebrity world. Pushing along with their show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’, they have created a massive fan following. The focus of this piece will revolve around the latest revelations of Khloe Kardashian and her desire to know her real father.

The rumours began from Kris Jenner’s interview with the local press after the release of her autobiography. The press was quick to jump on her words concerning Khloe’s father not being Robert Kardashian. For a while, Khloe was able to play off the entire fiasco by stating Robert was her father. The rumours were always quite alive about Khloe as she is seen and perceived to be ‘different’ in comparison to her sisters. But all this paternity talk amongst such high calibre celebrities is nothing knew. Paternity suits and cases constantly make the head lines; think of Jude Law’s paternity test or even that of another majoy Hollywood actor Keenu Reeves. 2012 and 2013 has collectively seen around 12 or so paternity tests being carried out amongst famous people (although not all these have been celebrities such as the DNA testing involving Strauss Kahn and the remains of King Richard the III).

When the rumours started becoming overwhelming, Khloe Kardashian stepped forward and began her own research. The goal was to end the debate and find out who her father truly is. There were murmurs that Kris Jenner had been cheating on her husband with Todd Waterman. Who was Todd Waterman in all of this? He was in fact her ex-boyfriend which added more intrigue to the matter involving Khloe’s birth.

The initial step was to ask her mother but of course after the book release she could not be trusted. In order to solve the mystery the use of DNA tests and/or a lie detector test were brought forward. These were the only two methods available in order to figure out the reality of this matter. Of course, this required the permission of both the mother and Khloe herself.

So how did things unfold?

In the end Khloe was distraught and felt the DNA test was unnecessary as she reaffirmed her trust of Robert being her dad. The DNA test, she felt, was a decision made by those who weren’t sure in such situations. She was confident Robert is her dad and felt the DNA test would negate that trust. The last thing anyone wants is to fall victim to the tabloids. In the end, the final decision was to put Kris through a lie detector test in order to figure out who Khloe’s father is. During the test, when asked if Robert Kardashian was Khloe’s biological father, Kris had replied in the affirmative.

What is fact and what is fiction? This answer can only be known by the involved parties as the storyline continues to revolve around and around. Despite the lie detector test putting away the claims of someone else being Khloe’s father the issue remains, with many still questioning the paternity of Khloe Kardashian. Many also question the validity of this issue. Was it constructed beginning to end in order to garner viewership ratings for the show? Was it a real issue that transcended the boundaries of the show and gave a real sneak peek into the life of Khloe Kardashian? We may never find out the true answer to that question.

Whatever the case may be, the issue seems to be put to rest for now. To Khloe, her father is the man that raised her and loved her until he passed away a few years ago…that man is Robert Kardashian.
