Electropherogram – A Graphical Depiction of Personal Data

This electropherogram will complement your DNA test results and will include raw data from the actual laboratory showing your one and only DNA sequence.

What is an electropherogram you may ask?

It is a graphical depiction of data received from the machine which analyses the DNA samples. The electropherogram may also be used for any of our DNA examinations such as DNA profiles or paternity testing. 

Sequences of a superior quality will be characterised by sharp, high peaks as shown below. This graph is exclusive to each individual and obviously varies depending on one’s own sequence; this is why it’s a chance in a million! easyDNA can actually provide you with the chance of owning your very own one-of-a-kind record of your DNA profile which can be kept by you for many years to come.

You will notice as you click on the sample image hereunder (when you order your very own electropherogram) a DNA profile for every single individual tested, will be clearly shown.

So how do I order mine?

Very easy... when purchasing your test you will have the choice of ordering your own electropherogram.  When you have chosen the test you need and then gone to the order page, one of the sections that must be completed is in reference to the electropherogram...so when deciding on your choice, an additional charge will be added onto your final price – then your order will be registered into our system and recorded. By ordering an electropherogram the DNA sequence will be provided for each person taking part in the test.

How much will it cost?

This will only cost £49.00 per test result, including an optional hard copy for to keep personally, sent as an email attachment along with your DNA test results.

So what happens when my tests are completed? Do I still get my electropherogram?

Of course, if your tests were done by easyDNA then you are entitled to your electropherogram. Now to order yours, if you are already an existing customer, just send your request with your full name and case reference number to info@easydna.co.uk. Availability of this service depends on how long ago your DNA test was concluded and our customer support team will advise whether we can assist with your request.
