Tiger Woods- Paternity DNA Test

There have been a number of allegations of infidelity in the life of Tiger Woods and the man is known to have had a number of extra-marital affairs. Those scandals have died down but it seems a new one has emerged. Devon James, a well known porn star, has come forward claiming to have a nine-year old child from her two and a half year affair with Woods. She says the child must be Wood’s since she has never dated any other African-American man besides him.

James gave birth to the Child in 2001 which coincides with the time of Woods’ wife pregnancy with her husband’s first child. One of the golfer’s sex previous sex scandals splashed on the tabloids involving Theresa Roger’s demand for 2 million Dollars for a child she claims is Woods has exhorted James to come forward with the child she claims has conceived from Woods. Rogers is rumored to have been the golfer’s 11th lover and James’ his 14th one.

There has as yet been no paternity DNA test taken by Woods to conclusively prove whether he is the father of this child Devon James says is his, but if Woods is found to be the father, the millionaire golfer will have to fork out heaps in retroactive payments and child maintenance.

Paternity Testing Information

The case involving Tiger Woods still needs to go to court unless he and James agree to an out-of-court settlement. If a paternity test is taken all that is needed is an oral swab from mother, alleged father and child. Laboratories can effectively extract DNA from a saliva sample and give astoundingly high results. In fact, the test will show with a probability of 99.99% or higher if the alleged father is the biological father of the child. If the alleged father is not the alleged father, he will be excluded with absolute 100% certainty.

Tiger Woods is just one of the many world-famous names to have done a paternity DNA test. Other celebrities who have been caught in paternity disputes include names to the likes of Eddie Murphy and Keanu Reeves.
